Trans Pride Brighton is calling for musicians, spoken word artists, and performance artists to perform on the Band Stage and the Family Stage at Trans Pride Brighton 2026.
Event Weekend: 18 July 2026
Band Stage and Family Stage Performance: Saturday 18 July 2026 (Daytime)
Contribution: £150 per act
Application deadline: 28 April 2026 at 11:59 PM
Eligibility & Requirements
• Performances will take place Saturday 18 July 2026 (daytime).
• Poetry, spoken word, and acoustic music should celebrate trans and gender identity.
• Both stages are friendly and alcohol-free.
• Set-up and sound check times will be very limited.
• Artists are encouraged to present work focused on trans and gender identity.
• Cisgender artists may apply only if performing in partnership with trans, non-binary, or intersex artists.
• Priority may be given to trans, non-binary, intersex, POC, migrant artists, and artists with disabilities.
• All acts must be family-friendly (no swearing, adult themes, or nudity).
• Lyrics and poems must be submitted in advance in Word format for BSL interpreters.

Stage Rules
1. Respect everyone’s pronouns and identities.
2. Racism, xenophobia, and bigotry will not be tolerated.
3. Cultural appropriation is not permitted.
4. All content must be family-friendly.
5. Performers must adhere to their allocated time slot.
6. Performances must not exceed the allocated time.
7. Acts that differ significantly from the application may be removed.
8. Performers must not be intoxicated.
