Volunqueers! is our new volunteer community. It’s a way to stay connected with Trans Pride throughout the year, build skills, support each other, and help sustain the march, the community centre, and everything in between.

Why Volunqueers?
We want volunteering with Trans Pride Brighton and Hove to feel welcoming, meaningful, and sustainable. Volunqueers is about more than helping at events — it’s about building community, sharing knowledge, and creating pathways for people to grow their confidence, skills, and connection to the organisation, at whatever pace works for them.
What You Can Be Part Of
As a Volunqueer, you may get involved in Trans Pride events and the annual march, community centre work days, training sessions and workshops, social meetups, outreach and ally events, or behind-the-scenes support such as communications, fundraising, or governance. You can choose what feels right for you, and you’re always welcome to step back or change how you’re involved as your circumstances change.
