This year we have had a record 140 acts apply to be a part of Trans Pride Brighton! We will be in touch with everyone to let them know our decisions as soon as possible. We would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who has applied, we are really impressed with the quality and it is very encouraging to see how our creative community is thriving. Volunqueers! is our new volunteer community. It’s a way to stay connected with Trans Pride throughout the year, build skills, support each other, and help sustain the march, the community centre, and everything in between.
Whether you’re looking to volunteer occasionally or want to become more involved behind the scenes, your contribution is essential to the future of our cause

Why Volunqueers?
We want volunteering with Trans Pride Brighton and Hove to feel welcoming, meaningful, and sustainable. Volunqueers is about more than helping at events — it’s about building community, sharing knowledge, and creating pathways for people to grow their confidence, skills, and connection to the organisation, at whatever pace works for them.

What You Can Be Part Of
As a Volunqueer, you may get involved in Trans Pride events and the annual march, community centre work days, training sessions and workshops, social meetups, outreach and ally events, or behind-the-scenes support such as communications, fundraising, or governance. You can choose what feels right for you, and you’re always welcome to step back or change how you’re involved as your circumstances change.
